been using ds300 for 5+ years now with excellent results that i would say are equal to a 500- 600 watts hps light without the heat issues!using at least half power!recently had my first problem 4+led rows went out.called advanced a nice lady sent me a power supply free even when my warranty was expired! unfortunately it didnt fix it.so she sent me a free led board to install.not a easy install but got r done.works great again !THANKYOU VERY MUCH! FYI DO NOT BUY THE CHEAPER KNOCK OFF VERSION IT WILL KILL YOUR PLANTS SERIOUS!TOTAL JUNK WTF!cant even put a review in on their site to warn people i should have stuck with original advanced ds on my 2nd led purchase.thanks again peace 1love

I purchased a DS300 a couple of years back, never opened the box until Feb this year. I can hardly believe my eyes, my plants are growing like crazy. I love that there are two switches to use whichever spectrum you need when you need it, and the built-in fans are pretty cool. They are a little noisy if you’re in the room, otherwise I don’t notice they are on. I have mine set on timers, and they work great. Did I mention I bought a second light last week? SO worth the money! Don’t know if it’s the lights, I cannot back this up since it’s my first time growing, but ALL my seeds grew into females.

I purchased a 300w Diamond Series LED panel for a plant physiology laboratory. The light is currently used only while plants are being measured: to keep them ‘happy’ while they are out of their growth cabinets. The panel is perfect for this purpose.

I did a lot of research before buying and was confident that this was the best unit for the money. As I have not used competing products I cannot verify that is the case, but this is a professional piece of equipment. Light output is nothing less than impressive, judged both by the eye (disclaimer: do not look directly at one of these) and dedicated light meters – at 18 inches (the recommended distance needed to assure full blending of the individual LEDs) I measure >1000 µmol m^-2 s^-1 photosynthetically active radiation.

After 6 months of use I have not noticed any degradation in output or had even the smallest problem with the panel. The panel is physically sturdy. It has mounting eyes on each corner making setup a breeze. What little heat it produces is dissipated efficiently – you can place your hand on it with no discomfort. All in all a great piece of equipment.

I was very skeptical at first with trusting LED technology to be capable of pulling off any decent indoor farming. I did my due diligence read tons of reviews and finally took the plunge and thus far no regrets. Like others have mentioned the upfront investment is a bit steep but what you save in regards to electrical consumption as well as minimal heat production etc. it’s more than a fair trade off! I purchased a DS 200 and am already considering another one possibly a DS 300. The customer service is great and the product construction superior. Made in the good old USA! Not some Chinese crap!

The only reason I didn’t give this review 5 stars is because having had the lamp now for only less than a month I’m not sure about the durability etc. yet but the product construction and technology seem superior. I have no doubts that Advanced will stand behind it’s product and I do not for see any problems with the life and or perfomance of this lamp!

I wanted to wait to write my review, but I forgot. It has now been two months and I smile every morning the timer pops it on. Penetration is ridiculous. My leaves are dark green all the way to the bottom of my 25″ Bubba bush. Light has never added heat, which is perfect for my area. Still within my 90 days, but it is a keeper for sure. Also, the man they talk about in the reviews is real, and a hard worker! Called me after I placed and order for money order and forgot about it. He helped me with the address while I was at the UPS store and the light arrived 3 days later. Crazy. I want to add a second light, but I can’t decide whether to Daisy-chain another DS100 or buy the DS300 for a bigger flowering area. I am just waiting for the planets to align and I will be right back to get a second light. Couldn’t be happier. Thanks

Got the ds100 and WOW is it bright, when I leave my garden I’m rather light-dazed.. I cant imagine what a 200 or even a 600 would look like (it would probably blind you for a while w/o glasses).

This light is very well built, great hang design, VERY cool, the list goes on. The best feature by far is the ease of installment, I just screwed the cord into the ds & plugged it into the wall… a couple of hook-ties installed hung in about 5 minutes. Oh yea, and you flip a button.

(press 1 for veg, 2 for flower.)

For those who say LED isn’t up to par you haven’t tried this unit. Well worth the $$ when you factor in ducting/fans/heat. Unless you want to spend big bucks youll probably want HPS for flowering any kind of plant if you aim for higher wattage… but dont kid yourself if you buy a 300+ as your main light it will yield amazing results regardless.

Long story short, if space/heat/power usage/led quality matter to you then you will want diamond, & I can vouch for this company. Solid design and great cx service from Advanced. Do plan on getting several 300’s and do reccommend this product for quality and proper advertising.

The only downfall I see is that these lights are so intense you have to have enough height to keep away from the plants, this is not a factor for me but for a grower that has 3′ or less it could pose a issue because of the intensity.

Finally!! The ‘LEDs’ have come of age and are now worth purchasing! I’ve been interested in LEDs for many years and watched the developments with hope, I bought one DS300 and after a couple months (I didn’t have to wait the full 90 days to judge) I bought a second DS300. My plants LOVED it! The performance, savings and results are off the chart. That, plus the awesome Mr. Kyle, make this one of the best investments of a lifetime for any indoor grower. Solid, clean, elegant construction & looks, I strongly recommended the Diamond Series to all my friends, and now to you…

So I got my DS300 over a month ago, I wanted to wait before I reviewed it to see how it did.
Let me tell you I am one impressed guy. My light showed up in perfect condition, shipping took about a week longer then I expected but well worth the wait. I felt like a kid at Xmas when it came. First thing I did was open the box pull it out and plug it in, turned it on and ran all light cycles to see for any bad lights, it was perfect.
Now I am in to 3 weeks from seed and my plants are going nuts, Sagarmatha – AK 48 – auto – feminized.@ http://freedomofseeds.com/index.php
I love how this performs in my 3x5x7 tent. I look forward to my next buy of the DS600 which daisy chained to the DS300 will be a power house in new growing technology PS: seed/clone switch 1-28″ high,Switch 1 & 2 Veg 16″ to 18″ high, will move it to 22″ once flower cycle starts

switch 2. I posted that because it took me forever to find a real answer to height levels for my light. The paper that comes with you lights suggests different heights which may suit your needs if your just growing flowers and veggies, But I am not 🙂 and Kyle does do a wicked good job. 2 thumbs up bro. Oh and I would like to say I spent almost a hole year looking and deciding on Advanced Led Lights. Glad I did my research because there lots of crap out there.

I’ve had the DS800 for over a month now and the grow is looking better than any thing I’ve had in the past 2 years using HPS lights. Also, I’m adding to my space so I’m getting another DS300. These lights don’t add any heat, they’re quiet, and will pay for themselves over in electric savings!

And as far as customer service goes, Kyle is the guy who goes above and beyond!

What a great USA made product, I will pay more for products like this any day of the week. Please don’t increase the price however. I’ve been growing tomatoes indoors for 4 years now and the 200W Diamond Series has been working 12/7 every day. I especially appreciate the cooling fans that also serve to eliminate any mold buildup. What a product!!
